All Fire Accent™ Gel Burners have the correct metal ring to hold the Fire Accent Solid Gel securely in the gel burner. However, other gel burners can be used as long as they are equipped with a 2.5 inch opening and a metal ring.

Can I use Fire Accent Solid Gel for cooking?
No, Fire Accent Solid Gel should not be used for cooking or anything other than decorative lighting.

What are the key ingredients of Fire Accent Solid Gel?
The primary ingredients of Fire Accent Solid Gel are ethanol and isopropanol.

Can I use Fire Accent Solid Gel indoors?
No. Fire Accent Solid Gel and gel burners are for outdoor use only.

Can I use regular Sterno Chafing Fuel instead of Fire Accent Solid Gel with my gel burner?
No. Do not use any other gel except the Fire Accent Solid Gel specifically designed for use in Fire Accent™ Gel Burners or any other gel burner with 2.5 inch opening and metal ring.

What happens if the gel is consumed internally?
If gel is consumed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately contact a physician or poison control center for treatment advice.

Can I re-light Fire Accent Gel for later use?
Yes. Be sure to extinguish the flame completely using the snuffer provided. Wait until the can and gel burner are completely cool. Use the removal tool to pull the can from the gel burner and reseal with lid. Follow the instructions on the Fire Accent Solid Gel for re-lighting.

What happens if water gets in the gel?
If rain, water, or any other debris gets in your gel can, dispose of it and do not use.

How do I store my Fire Accent Solid Gel?
Fire Accent Solid Gel should always be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area. Do not store open cans. Fire Accent Solid Gel can be stored at any temperature below 120°F. Keep away from fire, sparks, and heated surfaces.

Will my Fire Accent Solid Gel work in cold weather?
Yes, but if the temperature of the Fire Accent Solid Gel is below 54°F it may be difficult to light. If the Fire Accent Solid Gel temperature is below 54°F the flame must be held to the gel longer in order to heat the surface temperature of the gel and therefore ignite.

Are the Fire Accent Solid Gel cans refillable?
No. Fire Accent Solid Gel cans should be disposed of after gel has been completely used. Never add any other products to Fire Accent Solid Gel cans.
